{"id":121,"date":"2015-05-22T10:41:43","date_gmt":"2015-05-22T17:41:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/shakennotstirred.us\/?p=121"},"modified":"2015-05-22T10:41:43","modified_gmt":"2015-05-22T17:41:43","slug":"thoughts-on-stemware-part-three","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/shakennotstirred.us\/?p=121","title":{"rendered":"Thoughts on Stemware, Part Three"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Its been a while since I shared some thoughts on stemware, so here are a few Friday Musings&#8230;.<\/p>\n<p>Crooked stems?\u00a0 Split?\u00a0 Or big sweeping curving stems?\u00a0 Is there some reason for a crooked\/curved\/split stem that I&#8217;m just not seeing?\u00a0 Or is this just trendy?<\/p>\n<p>And I&#8217;ve already demonized those little squat ugly stems in the past.\u00a0 (You can find my past stemware comments in the &#8220;Stemware&#8221; category over on your left.)<\/p>\n<p>What about colored stemware?\u00a0 I&#8217;m partial to clear crystal so I can see what I&#8217;m drinking.\u00a0 Ok, maybe a colored &#8216;stem&#8217;.\u00a0 I know there&#8217;s no difference in taste or thermal affects so maybe I&#8217;m just being traditional?<\/p>\n<p>Anyplace that offers a Martini in a plastic stem should be shut down immediately.\u00a0 Unless you&#8217;re on a pool deck of course.<\/p>\n<p>Don&#8217;t forget to subscribe over on the left panel and get immediate notification of new postings.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Its been a while since I shared some thoughts on stemware, so here are a few Friday Musings&#8230;.
