{"id":207,"date":"2015-04-12T17:47:00","date_gmt":"2015-04-12T17:47:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/shakennotstirred.us\/?p=207"},"modified":"2015-04-12T19:03:44","modified_gmt":"2015-04-12T19:03:44","slug":"does-gin-belong-in-the-freezer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/shakennotstirred.us\/?p=207","title":{"rendered":"Does Gin belong in the Freezer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>One of my wonderful readers asked if their Gin should be stored in a freezer?<\/p>\n<p>Store gin in the freezer?\u00a0 I keep my Vodka in the freezer, so why not the Gin?\u00a0 As I&#8217;ve noted several times in past posts I do like my Martini cold and having the gin in the freezer would certainly help keep the drink cold.\u00a0 This would be especially helpful if you&#8217;re using warm ice when shaking.<\/p>\n<p>But at some point it seems there might be a case of diminishing returns.\u00a0 As I commented earlier about freezer space, perhaps its more important to keep your ice cream there?\u00a0 This one is a toss up in my opinion, if you have plenty of freezer space certainly keep your gin there.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>One of my wonderful readers asked if their Gin should be stored in a freezer?
